Upgrade one of the most commonly worn interior touchpoints in your classic Jeep with Vigilante’s leather-wrapped column shifter knob.
Designed to replace the factory plastic automatic transmission shift knob found on classic Jeep steering columns, this upgraded assembly solves the all-too-common issue of loose or slipping original knobs while dramatically improving interior feel and appearance.
Development began with a NOS factory shifter knob that was professionally 3D-scanned and recreated in CAD. From there, the design was refined to improve fitment, durability, and installation. The knob securely locks into place using a hidden Allen set screw, eliminating the weak factory attachment method.
Each knob is hand-wrapped in premium Moore & Giles leather — the same material used throughout Vigilante interior restorations. The stitching is recessed into the housing and positioned at the rear of the knob, making it nearly invisible from normal seating positions while remaining smooth and comfortable in hand.
This is the same shifter knob used in Vigilante builds and is designed to elevate the driving experience while maintaining a factory-inspired appearance.
