The failing electronic power mirror switch has plagued Grand Wagoneer owners for decades. This infamous interior part often suffers catastrophic failure—chrome pitting, exposed electronics, and eventual total malfunction. At JeepHeritage, leveraging our 20 years of expertise and the demanding standards of VIGILANTE restorations, we refused to accept failure as inevitable.

Our solution is a revolutionary remanufactured mirror switch, designed and assembled entirely in Texas, USA. We sourced a modern internal switch mechanism that delivers flawless functionality. We then encased this reliability in custom-engineered, stainless steel milled components. These lathe-cut pieces provide the perfect, factory-fresh aesthetic that will never pit or fail like the original chrome. This is no guesswork just smart design.

This superior upgrade addresses the root cause of the system's failure, providing reliability that even a carefully restored original switch cannot match. We’ve designed the installation process to be as stable as possible, replacing the original rusty speed nuts with brand new stainless steel threaded studs and specialized backing plates to secure the switch firmly, even against loose door panels.

A door panel template is included for a precise, minor trim required for fitting. Whether you choose the DIY switch-only kit, or the comprehensive Package One, which includes the switch, wiring, and a pair of painstakingly disassembled, cleaned, and fully function-tested original mirror assemblies, you are investing in longevity. Upgrade your classic SJ series Jeep interior with the ultimate mirror switch solution, built to VIGILANTE standards.
